[01] Papandreou addresses rally in PeramaMain opposition PASOK party leader George Papandreou, currently on a two-day tour of the island of Crete, addressed a party rally in the municipality of Perama, saying that his party represents a society of values and that the people of Crete are sending a double message to the government.Firstly, that the mockery of the ruling New Democracy party is enough and, secondly, that the people want another path, the one that PASOK is determining together with the citizens. The PASOK leader further said that the Greek people have already rejected New Democracy, because this party came to power having a great stock, but it has failed in all sectors. Bakoyannis reiterated that Greece supports Turkey's European prospects "because it believes that the reforms and the changes that this country will have to do are in the strategic interest of Greece and Cyprus", adding that "it is a long course that will also pass through a solution to the issue of Cyprus."
