[01] KKE leader on corruption
The workers everyday life was deteriorating in spite of the high
productivity and business profits recorded, Communist Party of Greece
(KKE) general secretary Aleka Papariga said Monday, during a visit to
the Larco general mining and metallurgical company.
Regarding the corruption problems that recently made the headlines, she
stated in reply to press questions that political power translates into
state -government - business and it should not be surprising when links
between political figures and business people were revealed.
"They exist because business people would otherwise be unable to
operate. But the biggest link is between business people and the policy
of the government and with the government as a whole, regardless
whether there is personal political money and enrichment," she added.
