  • [01] Prince Charles on pilgrimage to Mount Athos

    Prince Charles of Wales departed from the port of Nea Peramos, in the Halkidiki peninsula northern Greece, on board the luxury yacht "Paris" on Thursday on his way to his now established, annual pilgramage to Mount Athos in northern Greece, and specifically to the Monstery of Vatopedio.

    The heir to the British throne arrived shortly after 5 p.m. at "Megas Alexandros" airport in Kavala and in continuation the motorcade of seven cars which accompanied him, arrived at the port of Nea Peramos where he boarded the luxury yacht.

    He was not accompanied by his wife Camilla.
