Two weak tremors jolted Athens Wednesday morning, coming from the same epicentre at Parnitha that produced last September's deadly earthquake.

The Athens Geodynamic Institute and Thessaloniki University Geophysics Laboratory recorded two tremors registering 3.6 and 3.5 on the Richter scale at 9:29 a.m. and 9:34 a.m. respectively.

No damage or injuries were reported.

[02] Soccer-Champions League-Olympiakos

Spain's Valencia won 2-1 at home against Olympiakos Piraeus in their first (Group C) match for the European soccer Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Spanish team went 2-0 ahead with goals by Ruben Baraja in the 36th minute and by Diego Alfonso in the 44th minute.

Predrag Djordjevic pulled one back for the Greek team in the 73rd minute.
