[01] Hans van den Broek concerned about lack of progress on Cyprus-issue
Hans van den Broek, Member of the European Commission, responsible for
relations with Cyprus and Turkey, stated last Friday that he was deeply
concerned about the disappointing outcome of the United Nations-led direct
talks between President Clerides and Mr Denktash in Glion-sur-Montreux, as
reported by the UN special advisor for Cyprus, Mr Cordovez, to the UN
Security Council.
