According to illegal Bayrak Radio (1130 hours, 12/12/95) the pseudostate has protested to the United Nations "over the double standard the Greek Cypriots are trying to use in Cyprus."

Osman Ertug, so-called representative in Ankara, sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Boutros-Ghali alleging that recently the Greek Cypriots have been bombarding the international organization with letters that Turkish planes have been violating Cypriot airspace. Ertug claimed that Greek planes violated Cypriot airspace during the (Nikoforos-95) and (Toksotis-3) joint air-naval exercises.

    [02] On the sports embargo

According to BIRLIK (13/12/95), the so-called chairman of the turkish cypriot "Sports Federation" Omer Adal attended a FIFA meeting that took place in Paris on 11/12/95, along with the chairman of the Turkish Federation. Adal said the issue of the sports embargo against the Turkish Cypriots was discussed and that they were given the promise that FIFA will see the issue in a positive manner.
