[01] Free bus fares for pre-school and elementary school students extended
Pre - school and elementary school students will continue to be entitled
to free bus fares until January 7, President of the Parliamentary
Committee on Communications and Works Antonis Antoniou has said.
In statements he made, in the House of Representatives, on Thursday,
Antoniou said that consultations continue on the matter with all parties
involved in the matter.
MPs, he noted, were briefed during the Committee that the Ministries
of Communications and Works and Education and Culture have decided to
continue the practice of free bus fares for pre-school and elementary
school students.
