[01] Partial Cabinet reshuffle to be announced on MondayPresident of Cyprus Demetris Christofias will announce on Monday a limited Cabinet reshuffle.The reshuffle, announced by Government Spokesman Stephanos Stephanou, takes place following Finance Minister Kikis Kazamias` resignation due to health reasons. Kazamias will be replaced by Banker and current Health Insurance Organisation Chairman, Vasos Shiarlis. Sources told CNA that Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Praxoulla Antoniadou is leaving the Cabinet and will be replaced by current Minister of the Interior Neoclis Sylikiotis. Sylikiotis will be replaced by former Mayor of Nicosia Eleni Mavrou. [02] House President calls for pressure on TurkeyCyprus House of Representatives President Yiannakis Omirou has called on the international community to exert pressure on Turkey if a solution to the Cyprus problem is to be achieved.Speaking at a memorial service for Theofilos Georgiades, Omirou said the tolerance shown by the international community to Turkey ``strengthens its criminal behaviour, intransigence and unbridled negativeness.`` ``The prescription is simple. They should convince Turkey to agree to a solution prescribed by the civilised humanity. To convince her to withdraw its troops from Cyprus, to accept international law and UN resolutions,`` he said. Omirou added that ``we do not want anything to separate us from the Turkish people.`` ``We do not seek enmity with them. On the contrary, we wish for good neighbourly relations within the framework of reciprocal respect,`` he said, adding however that ``the bitter truth teaches that leaderships of theirs have acted with expansionist, tyrannical and dark intentions.`` [03] Foreign Minister to hold working visit to FranceCypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Erato Kozakou Markoullis will be departing on Monday for Paris for a working visit, during which she will discuss the Cyprus problem, bilateral relations, energy issues, the priorities of Cyprus` EU presidency, and issues of European and international interest.On Tuesday, Markoullis will meet with French Minister of Foreign Affairs Alain Juppe, as a follow-up meeting of the Road Map agreed on between President of the Republic of Cyprus Demetris Christofias and French President Nicholas Sarkozy during the former`s visit to Paris in 2009. Markoullis will also meet with Chairman of the Cyprus-France Friendship Group at the Senate �arc Massion and Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs of the Senate Simon Sutour. She will also meet with the board of the Cypriot community and will host a working breakfast for researchers from French think tanks. [04] House of Representatives supports GreecePresident of the House of Representatives Yiannakis Omirou has expressed the support of the House to Greece`s efforts to overcome the economic downturn and return to the path of growth, progress and social cohesion.Speaking at Larnaca Airport on his return from a trip to Greece, where he met with the Greek Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Omirou pointed out the importance of a strong Greece in efforts to solve the Cyprus problem and restore the human rights and freedoms of the people of Cyprus. Omirou thanked the Greek political leadership for its full support to the struggle of the people of Cyprus for freedom and justice.
