[01] Inflation drops to 3.1% in January
The rate of inflation for January 2012 dropped to 3.1% compared to
4.2% in December 2011 and increased compared to 3.0% in January 2011,
according to the Cyprus Statistical Service.
The inflation recorded in January is the lowest in the last three months.
The greatest increase during January was recorded in products or services
pertaining to housing, water, electricity and gas (10.2%) and in the
areas of food and non alcoholic drinks (6.7%).
