Cyprus to send aid to countries hit by typhoon and floods

Nicosia, Nov 20 (CNA) -- The Cyprus Cabinet has decided to send financial aid to Cuba, Jamaica and Grenada which were hit recently by typhoons.

The Cabinet also decided to send aid to the Philippines that was struck by floods.

Nicosia, Nov 20 (CNA) -- Secondary schoolchildren took over on Saturday from the Cypriot deputies at the House of Representatives and held a plenary session of the Children's House, outlining their views and specific proposals on issues that concern them.
