0930:CYPPRESS:01[01] President Clerides flies from London to New YorkLondon, Nov 7 (CNA) -- Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides flies today from London to New York where he will address the UN General Assembly and hold meetings with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and the ambassadors of the UN Security Council Permanent Members.Clerides will also meet UN Secretary General's Special Adviser on Cyprus Alvaro de Soto and US State Department's Special Coordinator for Cyprus Thomas Weston. Meanwhile, Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides was due to meet today in London with his British counterpart Jack Straw. He will also meet British Special Representative on Cyprus Lord David Hannay and British Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott. In the evening Kasoulides will address a dinner to be given by the Greek Cypriot Brotherhood that will be attended by MPs, members of the House of Lords and journalists.
