They have also expressed concern over how the incident occured.The atmosphere in Pergamos, in the east of the island and within Bases area, has been tense since the abduction of 40-year-old Panicos Tziakourmas, while the incident has scared off Greek Cypriot employers who over the past two days have not turned up to pick up some 150 Turkish Cypriots who come to the government-controlled areas of the Republic to work on their construction sites.
