They were talking about development of modern army and possibilities for cooperation.SRPSKO SARAJEVO - Employees at the Radio Srpsko Sarajevo stopped to broadcast the programme and went on a strike as a protest against the decision of the RS Government to relieve their director and acting editor in chief from duty, Bosko Siljegovic. A new commissioner has been appointed in this station, Vlado Popovic, what also caused the strike. MILICI - Employees at the Independent Studio Radio Milici informed its listeners and citizens in Milici that they stopped to broadcast the programme in order to reduce tension in the city. "A decision of the employees obligates representatives of the Central police station in Milici to return deprived equipment in 24 hours and to warn the editorship of the Radio station within the Boksit enterprise that it can not use the name of the Radio Milici, which work has been banned by a decision of the RS Minister of Information" - is said in the news. DOBOJ - The President of the Doboj Municipal Assembly, Mirko Stojcinovic, stated for the Municipal Court in Doboj charges have been brought against the RS Ministry of Information because of the decision made by the RS Government to relieve from duty 16 directors and editors in chief of the local radio and television stations, among which is a leadership of the Serbian Radio Doboj. At a press-conference he said that his expectations on the basis of the brought charges, a decision of the RS Government would be suspended. TESLIC - Employees at the Info-Tes in Teslic are supporting everyone who has a respect for freedom of the press and centuryold strives of the Serbian people. In a telegram of support they expressed their protest regarding the RS Government decision to relieve from duty directors and editors in chief of the 16 local radio and television stations in RS and to appoint a commissioner instead. BANJALUKA - Vice-president of the RS Government and the RS Minister of War Veterans and War Victims, Tihomir Gligoric, said in Banjaluka that financial situation of veterans' category of population has been improved and announced that these categories of the population from now will have a priority. At a pressconference of the RS Socialist Party (SP) he stressed that disability allowances amounting to 39-430 dinars are being regularly paid out. Croatian radio Herceg-Bosna conveyed the statement of the chief of the UNHCR regional centre in Mostar, Neal Wright, who thinks that there is a connection between this event and the return of Muslim refugees to this Croat controlled territory. JULY 29, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKABRCKO - The Bijeljina - Banjaluka highway is passable for traffic since 5:30p.m. The highway was blocked by few hundred of Serbian refugees as a protest because of marking of apartments in which Muslim families were to move in. BANJALUKA - Deputy International Representative in B&H, Hans Schumacher, accused the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) that they are too slow in implementation of the Annex 7. of the Dayton Peace Accord in RS. Schumacher blamed local authorities in Banjaluka that "they have no will and a desire to solve the return of non-Serbian refugees - which is one of the most important tasks of the peace agreement", said Schumacher in an interview for a tomorrow's issue of Banjaluka's "Nezavisne novine". PRISTINA - A captain Bojan Denic has been killed by a sniper and Rustem Agzusi, an assistant at the Dragas police station injured, in an attack of Albanian terrorists on policemen and soldiers of the FRY Army in the area of the village of Buce near Dragas on 28 July, SRNA has learned from representatives of the local authorities. Serbian security forces have captured eight of 50 terrorists while they were trying to cross the border and enter the FRY territory. For the rest of the group the search is on-going. PRISTINA - Serbian Security forces forced Albanian terrorists to retreat from Stupelj, Bic, Grabc, Drenovcic, Renovac and Ozrim , SRNA has learned from the Municipal authorities in Klina. Several terrorists from the village of Resnik and Sicevo have been killed in clashes with police. PRISTINA - Serbian Security forces unblocked the Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec road, through Srbica, Gornja Klina, Rudnik and Istok, SRNA has learned from the local authorities in Istok. Albanian terrorists had been blocking the Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec road for several months. PRISTINA - A group of Albanians were arrested by Serbian security forces in the Church of Sveti Apostol Andrej in Podujevo, while they were making a propaganda movie about mass and forced conversion of Albanians, SRNA has learned from representatives of the local authorities. Policemen arrested leading men of the movie - a scenarist, director, and a leading actor - in the role of an Orthodox priest - and confiscated the material. BANJALUKA - The RS Government established Draft of the Law on Changes and Amendments of the Law on regular courts and Draft of the Law on a foreign debt repayment, at the 22nd session in Banjaluka. "The Law on regular courts has an innovation by which is possible for the High Judicial Council to be establish. It will be consisted of experts from the field of judiciary, with a special role during election of judges at the regular courts", said after the meeting vice-president of the Government, Ostoja Kremenovic. BRCKO - Refugees in the place of Klanac near Brcko blocked at 11:00a.m. a part of the Banjaluka-Bijeljina highway as a protest because of the continuation of marking the abandoned apartments in which Muslim should return. The President of the local community Klanac, Predrag Andric, said that refugees demanded from the RS state institutions to solve a problem of Serbian refugees, 365 families, about their settlement in Klanac and for assets invested in a repair of these houses to be compensated. SARAJEVO - The B&H citizens are allowed to have citizenship of another state, under condition that a bilateral agreement is reached with that person, in accordance with the B&H Constitution and the Law on citizenship, passed on January 1st, 1998 - stated OHR in B&H on July 28th. A communique issued by OHR and given to SRNA reminds that not even a single agreement was reached till 29 July, but, as stated, "the Law on citizenship anticipates the 5-years-transitional period i.e. till January 1, 2003 - the date by which B&H will manage to make such agreements with the states interested and especially with its neighbouring states". PRISTINA - Last night, seven members of the Liberation Army of Kosovo were captured while four were killed during a clash between police and Albanian terrorists in the village of Veliki Drenovac, between Kijevo and Malisevo. A legal procedure will be started against the prisoners. PRISTINA - Albanian terrorists destroyed all of the tombstones at the Orthodox cemeteries in the Municipality of Djakovica i.e. in the villages of Smonci, Nec and Seremet - SRNA has learned from representatives of the local authorities in Djakovica. According to the same source, terrorists destroyed remains of the Orthodox Church in Nec. PRISTINA - Head of the Kosovo region, Veljko Odalovic, held talks in Pristina with the EU delegation about situation in Kosmet, in which were, Albert Rohan, secretary general of the Austrian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Wolfgang Isinger, German Foreign Affairs Ministry political director, and Emir Jones Pery, British Foreign Affairs Ministry political director. Odalovic informed the delegation about difficult situation in Kosovo and Metohija, caused by Albanian terrorists and their actions. PRISTINA - Albert Rohan, Austrian Foreign Affairs Ministry political director, who is at the head of the European threemember delegation in their visit to Belgrade and Pristina, said in Pristina that EU had a message about the Kosmet crisis - clashes must stop and further development of crisis will not be tolerated as well as casualties and suffering of refugees. Dialogue must take place immediately, said Rohan after the meeting with the Kosovo Albanian leader, Ibrahim Rugova. PRISTINA - A request for an inquiry has been submitted against 85 Albanians from the area of Prizren by the District Attorney's Office in Prizren under on suspicion that they participated in the Kosovo Liberation Army terroristic actions. The District Attorney's Office indicted 59 Albanians from the Orahovac Municipality, 15 from the Suva Reka Municipality , 6 from Prizren and 5 from the village of Malisevo. PRISTINA - District Attorney's Office in Pec submitted to the District Court a request for an inquiry against Met Ademaj from the village of Rausic in the Pec Municipality, under a suspicion that he committed a crime of giving support to the culprit after a crime has been committed. Ademaj gave to a commander of the terroristic group for the village of Rausic four tons of oil and 10,000 DM for the group. PRIZREN - Branislava Furjanovic, was reelected head of the Prizren region by a decision of the Serbia Government.
