SARAJEVO - The president of the Commission for human rights, emigration, refugees and asylum of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H Velibor Ostojic assessed that decision of the Constitutional Court of B&H about rejecting the requirement for assessment of constitutivity of his nomination for this post as one more failure of Moslem propaganda. "This is another attempt in the series of attempts with the aim of demonising Serbian people and political disqualification and deterrence of his leadership" - said Ostojic in the statement for SRNA and reminded" "The decision about my nomination at the mentioned post was unequivocally passed on September 16 last year at the session of the House of Representatives and only I restrained from voting".

SARAJEVO - Co-presiding of the B&H Council of Ministers Boro Bosic stated in Pale that he was expecting form the High International Representative Carlos Westendorp "much political will and wisdom during the proclamation of new B&H symbols in order to satisfy demands and specifications of all its three constitutive nations". Reminding that it is about flag, coat of arms and hymn, "thus about symbols, which should be used equally by everyone in B&H", Bosic said: "It is certain that on January 20 state symbols of B&H will not be valid any more, and it is also possible that in a certain period state will be left without omens, until the new ones are chosen, which should be suitable for and represent interests of Serbian, Croatian and Muslim nation."

SARAJEVO - The co-presiding of the B&H Council of Ministers Boro Bosic received in Pale in a farewell visit the special delegate of the UN Secretary General for B&H Kai Eide, who is changing this for new high function in OSCE in Vienna. Bosic thanked Eide for the friendly engaging and suggestions about the ways in which Serbian side should have taken part in the activities in the following period, which would " both form economic and political aspect, consolidate international role, image and position of RS". The special delegate of UN reminded that the most important items in the last year have been reconstruction of police forces and economic- financial situation in RS and B&H Federation, and emphasised that UN wanted to observe and treat both entities completely equally.

ATHENS - Antagonisms of USA and western Europa are being manifested in B&H in the worst possible way - through the protectorate without limited duration - is being claimed by a journalist of the Greek journal "Ekskusia" Jorgos Capopoulos. He is anticipating that the new year will not bring anything new in B&H, but, on contrary, he fears that it will be dramatic in the same measure as the last one, first of all because of already mentioned attitude of USA and western Europa. " Once more differences will, unfortunately, have bad consequences for nations in B&H" - concludes the Greek journalist and adds that current political conditions in Europe remind a great deal on the those from 1991.
