NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

PRISTINA - The president from RS in the Presidency of B&H Momcilo Krajisnik stated for the Radio Pristina that the "Agreement on the special parallel relations between FR Yugoslavia /FRJ/ and Republika Srpska /RS/ is the first agreement which unifies the Serbian people and gives to it the psychological power". According to Mr. Krajisnik, this is one of most favourable moments for bringing the agreement of this kind by which the Serbian people is being unified.

SARAJEVO - The Government of Republika Srpska /RS/, at the regular session in Pale, raised the initiative that for the needs of rehabilitation of the difficult material situation in Herzegovina from the aggregate income of " Elektroprivreda" /electricity production, transmission and distribution/ of RS would be set aside 3% per year. While discussing this initiative, which was set in motion during the visit of the prime minister Gojko Klickovic to Herzegovina, is assessed that by the same pattern would be raised the wider action for aid for all non developed municipalities in RS. The Government raised also the initiative on forming the community of municipalities and cities in RS which would, in cooperation with such communities in FR Yugoslavia and abroad, contribute more equalised development of the country, but also the faster democratisation of the society in whole. At the session, in which work participated also the co-presiding from RS in the Council of Ministers of B&H Boro Bosic, was discussed the information on building of the house of joint organs, as well as the course of works on building the objects of the state organs in Pale.

SARAJEVO - In Pale will be held the session of the Main Board of the Serbian Democratic Party of the Serbian states /SDS SZ/. The session is the continuation of the previous one, held in Pale on March 14, which was dedicated to the considering of the information about the Agreement on special parallel relations between RS and FR Yugoslavia, signed on February 28. It is expected that the Main Board of SDS would continue the considering the information from the International Conference about modalities of conducting the decisions about the Brcko region, held on March 7 and 8 in Vienna.

SARAJEVO - The secretary of the Red Cross /CK/ of RS Svanimir Djokic received in Pale the keys of 16 small busses as a gift of the International Federation of Associations of Red Cross and Red semi-crescent, and is dedicate to the mobile technical teams and the patronage service for care for old, ill and disabled persons. "The nine vehicles is intended for the mobile technical teams for reconstruction of the existing housing, and seven for patronage service". - stated Mr. Djokic, adding that the vehicles are given for use to the regional boards of Red Cross.

BIJELJINA - While greeting the decision of the National Assembly of RS about the permanent accommodation of refugees and displaced persons and creating the conditions for more human life, the president of the Executive Board of the municipality Bijeljina Svetozar Mihajlovic pointed out the need that this category of people would be enabled to live on their own work. According to him, the deployment of population, first of all of some from villages of municipalities Lopare, Zvornik, Ugljevik, Birac and others, will enable the permanent accommodation of 2,000 of families of fallen Serbian soldiers and war veterans".

VUKOVAR - The association of Serbs from Krajina and Croatia, with the seat in Belgrade, sent the appeal to the Serbian people in Srem-Baranja region not to leave their place of birth, for centuries old hearths. "If you leave your place of birth, no matter the problems ahead of you, we, from our refugee experience, assert that you will have terrible remorse", it is said in the appeal.
