BANJALUKA - The president of Republika Srpska (RS) and commander-in-chief of its armed forces, Biljana Plavsic, and head of the General Staff of the RS Army (VRS) general Pero Colic, talked in Banjaluka with commanders of the VRS air force and ground forces on the situation in their units.

BANJALUKA - The RS president, Biljana Plavsic, talked in Banjaluka with special rapporteur for human rights, Elizabeth Rehn, on observance of human rights and freedoms, and prevention of incursions and resettling of the zones of separation. The RS president confirmed they mainly discussed "problems from the sphere of interests of Ms. Rehn, who has been present in these areas for a long time."

PARIS - The Serbs want a strict compliance to the Dayton agreement, not because they like it, but because it represents a rule for all parties if any solution is wanted to be found and if war is wanted to be prevented, stated the President in the Dayton B-H Presidency Momcilo Krajisnik for the "Vesti", paper of the Serb Diaspora.

SARAJEVO - The president in the Dayton B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, received the deputy high representative of the international community Mihael Steiner, in Pale. "If good will exists among all the parties, the Council of Ministers will be formed within the coming week", stated Steiner after the meeting, adding that "the setting up of the Council is being discussed with all parties".

BANJALUKA - The UN special repporteur for human rights, Elizabeth Rehn, visited the "Duga" Humanitarian Association in Banjaluka, which task is support of women, as civilian victims of war. The Association president, Galina Marjanovic, warned Ms. Rehn of the difficulties and results achieved by this Association in the field of psychological and material support of women.

KOTOR-VAROS - The Muslims must understand that Mostar is a Croatian city, i. e. cultural, political, economic and school centre of Herzeg-Bosnia, stated the deputy of the Croatian Party of Law (HSP) in the Federation B-H House of Representatives, Zdravko Hristic, and warned that the Croats in Tesanj, Tuzla, Bugojno, Zenica, Vares, as well as in the Muslim-held part of Mostar, are "exposed to maltreatment by the Muslim local authorities".

SARAJEVO - The president in the Dayton B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik opened the second RS Festival of Monodrama, which will take place until November 25 in the Serb University building in Lukavica. "This festival is an event which shows that we will not let the culture and spiritedness of the Serbian people disappear from these areas", stated Krajisnik.
