[01] Aid provided for inhabitants of Tropoje border areasBAJRAM CURRI, Nov 20 (ATA)- By Riza Hoxha, International humanitarian association "Care International" has distributed considerable aid for the inhabitants of the border villages of Tropoja (North), sources from the district council told ATA.Some 1 256 families of Tropoje and 800 families of Bytyc communes have profited from this aid. Border villages of Tropoje district, suffered considerable damages during the period of Kosova crisis. Agalliu, The Albanian government has provided a three million leks of fund for the medical treatment of a child, who was injured after being taken hostage by a criminal one year ago.Jonida Dervishi, 18 months, from Berat, was injured one year ago, when several criminals, after committing a crime and being surrounded by the special forces, took hostage the child as a means of pressure on the police. As a result of the exchange of fire between the police and criminals the child lost one leg and suffered other injuries. The speakers stressed the need for further cooperation between the two countries. In his speech Meidani stressed the need of creating joint structures in the fight against criminality and asked an increase of investments from this region in Albania which so far cover nearly half of the Italian investments. RP had refuted the declaration for cooperation of the political grouping "Albanian United Right Wing" in which RP is a member. /lh/xh/ D'Arc Avenue 23, Tirana, Albania E-Mail: Albanian Telegraphic Agency[08] Senior U.S. diplomats visit PrishtinaPRISHTINA, Nov. 20 (ata) - By B Jashari: On the eve of the visit of the United States President Bill Clinton to Kosova, the security adviser of President Clinton and diplomat Christopher Hill, U.S. former special envoy during the war in Kosova, arrived in Kosova on Saturday.The U.S. diplomats accompanied by the Chief of the U.S. diplomatic mission in Prishtina, Larry Rosin, met today with the Premier of Kosova, Hashim Thaci and with the Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosova, Ibrahim Rugova. After the meetings, PM Thaci appreciated the visit of the U.S. diplomats, Dobis and Hill, considering it as very important on the eve of the visit of President Clinton in Kosova. "We talked of some questions which are very important for the present situation in Kosova, the state of security and the political one," said Thaci. According to the A.A.A president, Alfred Moisiu, the aim of the conference was to treat the problems on the future of Kosova, to bring to evidence the role of NATO in the solution of the crisis and to consider the future co-habitation among various ethnic groups in Kosova.
