Dozens of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) separatists are employed in the Greek Intelligence Service (KYP). According to a news item by the privately-owned Cyprus-based International Affairs news agency (INAF) based on an article in the Greek newspaper, Stahos, which is known for its closeness to the Greek intelligence service and its enmity against Turkey, the KYP is using PKK members as spies against Turkey. Stahos noted that Greece gave most of the allocated budget for the intelligence service to Kurds to fight against Turks. Stating that the KYP was overrun with Kurds, the paper said Greek politicians were wrapped around the Kurds' fingers. "The Kurds are exploiting us via politicians. We should not forget that Kurds have been our enemies throughout history," said the Stahos article. /Milliyet/
