At the meeting of Sarajevo, Srbinje and Hercegovina Syndicate, Volas said that the Syndicate has been trying for months now, for the lowest labour price to be increased.BELGRADE - In 35 registration centres, in FRY, on June 1, will start voters registration, for general elections in September in RS and FB-H and will last until June 27. Refugees and other persons, with the right to vote, will be able to vote in municipalities in which they had lived during census in 1991, or at one of 73 polling stations in FRY, nearest to their place of residence. MAY 31, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKABANJALUKA - The Republika Srpska (RS) Prime Minister Milorad Dodik started a two-day visit to Podrinje where he will have talks with representatives of local authorities in Visegrad, Rudo, Rogatica, Srpsko Gorazde, Cajnice, Sokolac and Vlasenica on current political and economic situation in RS and implementation of the Dayton Peace Accord. The RS delegation includes the RS Defence Minister Manojlo Milovanovic, Minister of Refugees and Displaced Persons Miladin Dragicevic, Minister of Information Rajko Vasic, Minister of Urbanism, Civil Engineering and Ecology Jovo Basic and Minister of Traffic and Communications Marko Pavic.VISEGRAD - The RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik stated in Visegrad that, by the end of the year, all collective shelters should be dismissed, among which one in Visegrad, with 2, 150 refugees. "The Government approved 1,2 millions of DM for 382 apartments in which are to be moved in refugees from collective shelters" - said Dodik. "The RS Government achieved to change point of view of part of the international community on ban on foreign investments in the Eastern part of RS. A ban is still in effect in Pale" - said Dodik. PODGORICA - The Montenegro Internal Affairs Ministry Special Units have blocked all accesses to the Socialist People's Party (SNP) election headquarters in Podgorica. The SNP is headed by the Federation Prime Minister Momir Bulatovic. The whole town has been blocked , according to the unofficial information. Only journalists with press-cards have access to Bulatovic's election headquarters. PODGORICA - Vice-president of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) Predrag Bulatovic stated for SRNA in Podgorica that blockade of the SNP election headquarters caused suspicion to regularity of the elections. "It happened what had happened in the election campaign - the police is directly interfering with the elections" - said Bulatovic. "What is suspicious is a fact that there have been attempts for preventing for lists from polling stations to be delivered to our centre," - said Bulatovic. BRCKO - Delegation of the U.S. Congress, presided by Newt Gingrich, and a leader of minority group in the Congress, Dick Gepard, visited the American SFOR soldiers, stationed in McGovern base, near Brcko. A chairman of the Congress pointed out to the press significance of the American military mission in B-H. SARAJEVO - SFOR should stay in RS and FB-H at the expiration of its mandate - said in Sarajevo a chairman of the House of representatives of the U.S. Congress , republican Newt Gingrich. A democrat Richard Gephardt also supported Gingrich that SFOR should stay in B-H. PRISTINA - Media Centre in Pristina stated that in Kosovo and Metohija one Serb policeman has been killed and one heavily injured. The police eliminated tens of Albanian terrorists - DPA reports. There were clashes near Decani, Pec and Djakovica - Media centre announced. NEW DELHI - Almost 900 men have died in India because of extremely high temperatures - India news agency (UNI) reports. More than 400 men have died in India state Orisa - DPA reports. Most of them died on account of heart problems, circulatory disorders or great loss of body liquid. KATMANDU - Approximately 170 men died of hunger in the region of Humla, 450 km from Katmandu, Nepal capital - DPA reports citing Nepal state agency RSS. BANJALUKA - Exhibits at the 4th Fair of the Innovation, New products and Technology "INOST '98" in Banjaluka, have visited 100,000 men - said President of the Fair Mico Gacanovic at the press-conference.
