Aside from the RS Prime Minister the delegation includes the RS Minister of Finance Novak Kondic, vice-president of the RS Government Savo Loncar, Minister of Refugees and Displaced persons Miladin Dragicevic, The RS President counsellor for Economic Affairs Rajko Tomas and the RS Government associates.SARAJEVO - Keeping in mind the new Dodik's Government which has promised that would implement the Dayton peace accord regulations, many assesses that the time has come for establishing of balance in donor's policy toward RS and FB&H - AFP reported. "Serbs should take advantage of their moderate policy at the Donors Conference in Brussels on May 7 and 8 , at which additional financial help for B&H is expected, amounting 1,1 billions of dollars" - said AFP. PRISTINA - Serbian policeman Milovan Nikolic has been killed and his friend Darko Irvas heavily wounded in an attack of the Albanian terrorists in Kosovska Mitrovica. Darko Irvas will be transferred to hospital in Belgrade while third member of the patrol Jovica Jovic was easily wounded. There is an information that one terrorist has been killed during attack. PRISTINA - A group of Albanian terrorists expelled Aleksandar Cvetkovic and his wife from village of Lugadzije near Klina, the only Serbs in the village - SRNA correspondent reported. The couple stated in Pec that terrorists had threatened them not to stay in the village because, as they told them, "it is the Albanian land". AMSTERDAM - The chances are slim for the FRY President Slobodan Milosevic to agree , under pressures of the West and recently imposed sanctions, on internationalisation of the Kosovo's problem. The same opinion have Albanian leaders, because clashes between their militant wing and Serbian police have continued with same energy, no matter threats and decisions of the Contact Group. Yesterday's statement of the World's Bank President in Sarajevo according to which RS should gain 30% of planed donor's assets, he assessed as disturbing one. AMSTERDAM - British journalist Ed Vuljamy, one of three witnesses in the Hague Tribunal, is surprised with the fact that western journalists have not shown readiness so far, to participate in work of the Tribunal as expert witnesses. SARAJEVO - The B&H Croatian Democratic Community intend to adopt a Declaration on Division of FB&H in Croatian and Muslim entity - Muslim media reported citing Zagreb papers. President of the B&H HDZ Bozo Rajic warned that "Dayton's B&H is on the Croat detrimen and only "a weak union of three republics - Serb, Muslim and Croatian - can save B&H". ROME - Italian agency ANSA issued a news of its correspondent from Sarajevo on new burnings of Muslim houses in Stolac, emphasising that from pre-war 8,000 Muslim only 10 of them returned to home. This is just another proof that Croats are opposing every attempt for return of Serb and Muslim people in the Croat controlled cities. DERVENTA - In two collective shelters in Derventa 163 refugees are still there in very bad living conditions practically on their own - stated Djoko Poparic chief of the Derventa Department of Ministry of Refugees and Displaced persons. According to him from around 16,000 refugees no one found permanent settlement in Derventa. "I think it is very good that I came to London just before the Brussels Donors Conference and I will ask for a support from Great Britain for RS in the sense as the RS Prime Minister put it" - Plavsic said. During her stay in London she will have talks with representatives of the World Bank, British agency for overseas and representatives of other organisations included in the RS reconstruction programme. In the framework of a visit to British Parliament the RS President will have talks with representatives of the Parliamentary parties.BANJALUKA - On the occasion of the RS Army Day, May 12, the RS President Biljana Plavsic forwarded congratulations to the RS Defence Minister Manojlo Milovanovic and all members of the RS Army. "To You and all members of the RS Army I congratulate a May 12- the Army day. Six years ago Serbian Assembly in B&H made a decision on forming of Serb army, as a major guaranty of the Serbian people freedom and survival. It was a crucial decision for our survival in these regions. On this solemn day we must remember all of those who died, defending our freedom and homeland. They will be a role model for us how to defend our country" - is said in the greetings. BANJALUKA - The RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik stated in Banjaluka, before his leaving for Brussels, that he expected that promises made by the world to RS would be finally fulfilled in practice and expressed hope that RS would have a complete recognition. The RS delegation, headed by the RS Prime Minister, left today from Banjaluka for Brussels to the 4th Donors Conference. BELGRADE - Recent request for help, forwarded by Serbs detained in the Hague, their defenders think of as a justified. Belgrade's attorney Milan Vujin stated for SRNA that detained Serbs requested a visit of the RS Government representatives, because there were some problems related to their treatment there. "They are in unsuitable cells and do not have accommodations in accordance with the Tribunal regulations" - said Vujin. BRUSSELS - The NATO Council approved in Brussels an operative plan "Mutual action", that will be implemented in B&H at the expiration of the SFOR mission in June in 1998 - said AFP citing statement of the unnamed NATO official. The NATO Military Committee approved this plan in the end of April and it will be soon submitted to the other SFOR country members what they should verified. The "Mutual action" plan anticipates staying of the armed forces in the same number until B&H general election on September 12 and 13. According to this plan, military forces will not carry out police tasks. This kind of tasks will be entrusted to a special unit, numbering around 1,000 men. MAY 6, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKAVIENNA - The Republika Srpska (RS) President Biljana Plavsic was detained in Vienna at the airport while she was on her way to London, although she had a regular Sengen visa. Chief of the RS President Cabinet Milos Prica informed the OHR, Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo and Austrian Foreign Affairs Ministry, reported Serbian Radio Television. The RS President was released after diplomatic correspondence, but she will continue with her flight with another plane. "I wish to believe that this was not a deliberate error , how can we explain that a reason for my holding is alleged warrant of the Hague War Crimes Tribunaldated from 1992 - for my arresting, and I had been released only after an action from the top. Members of our delegation are shocked with this procedure, which is not in accordance with the proclaimed policy of the Republic of Austria", said Biljana Plavsic.BRUSSELS - The RS delegation headed by the RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik arrived in Brussels where it will participate at the 4th Donors Conference organised by the World Bank and EU. According to the agenda, tomorrow at 9:30 the Conference will be officially opened by Johanes Line vice- president of the World Bank and Hans van der Brook, Commissioner of the European Commission for Cooperation with the Middle and Eastern Europe. Also the International Community High Representative Carlos Westendorp will adrees participants. On the first day of the Donors Conference the RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik will asdress to participants along with the RS Minister of Finance Novak Kondic , Minister of Refugees and Displaced Persons Miladin Dragicevic and members of the B&H Council of Ministers. On the second day the auction of donors will take place. SARAJEVO - President in the B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik assessed the initiative of President of the Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina (SSKiP) Predrag Lazarevic for bringing criminal charges against war criminal Dinko Sakic before the B&H Presidency as a patriotic act but there were some obstacles. "That act is aimed at establishing of truth and condemnation of crimes against Serbs and other victims in notorious concentration camp Jasenovac" - is said in the letter forwarded by Krajisnik to Lazarevic. "Although, I am personally grateful on Your initiative, I must inform you about certain legal obstacles and steps I took in order for extradition to take place. According to the Dayton peace accord judiciary and prosecutor's office are not under B&H jurisdiction but under jurisdiction of RS and FB&H. RUDO - After humanitarian aid ceased to come in Rudo, 70% of the Rudo inhabitants are barely existing and for several months now Public Kitchen is out of operation, so Red Cross will have to rely on its own sources of financing - said the Red Cross vicepresident Nenad Dragosavljevic. "It at the same time a reason for holding of irregular session of the Rudo Red Cross" - said secretary of the Rudo Municipal Organisation of the Red Cross Mirjana Milosevic. SARAJEVO - Brigade north of the SFOR multinational division Southeast will organise in Cajnice a humanitarian action on renewal of this Municipality, improving of living conditions - it has been stated for SRNA from the informative office of the division in Mostar.
