Expressing his gratitude for this decoration the USA diplomat confirmed before the assembled journalists that he came to Banja Luka to express his respect for Mrs. Plavsic, and that he also yesterday in the same way made the farewell visit to "president in the B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik and other Serbian leaders".BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic received in Banja Luka the Ambassador of Switzerland to Sarajevo William Smidt, who highlighted the need of further developing the bilateral cooperation in the field of education, science and culture. Smidt arrived to Banja Luka, together with the presiding of EU for B&H Donato Chiarini, in order to attend the festive finishing of the works on rehabilitation of the Home for children "Rada Vranesevic" and Geriatrics Centre, for which renewal Swiss allocated 1,200, 000 German Marks. 4 BANJA LUKA - On Monday December 22 the president of RS Biljana Plavsic will meet in Sarajevo the Us president Bill Clinton - was confirmed for SRNA in the Cabinet of president of Republic. SARAJEVO - The president of National Assembly of RS Dragan Kalinic is convinced that the constitutive session of the parliament of RS will be scheduled in the legally anticipated time. Kalinic and the deputy chief of the Coordinative Centre of the Monitoring mission of EU Foanis Tsakiridis in talks in Pale stressed that it is necessary, as soon as possible to implement the results of the parliamentary elections through scheduling the session of National Assembly and election of assembly organs. BELGRADE - The UN and Hague Tribunal's spokesman in Belgrade Susan Manual stated that the International court for war crimes is collecting evidence for setting up the investigation about the Moslem crimes against Serbs in Sarajevo. "Right now I can not exactly say when the investigation will commence because the Tribunal do not talk about such things, but I know for sure about intensive collecting the evidence for the case 'Kazani'" said Manuel at the press conference in Belgrade. SARAJEVO - The president of RS Government Gojko Klickovic congratulated to the Commissioner for refugees and humanitarian aid of RS the Saint Patron's Day "St. Nicholas", stressing that the five years work of the Office of the Commissioner showed all the difficulties of Serbs in these areas. "This humanitarian task you have performed honestly and marvelously. We hope that such need will never repeat again" - is stated in the congratulation. BANJA LUKA - The Syndicate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of RS was and will remain the unique organisation although in the Ministry today act two leadership - is the conclusion from the session of the city syndicate held in Banja Luka. The participants of the meeting from all parts of RS made their best efforts for soon establishing the National Assembly and Government, and by that the election of one minister of internal affairs, who would provide the unique acting of this ministry in whole Republics. BRATUNAC - The refugees in the accommodation centre in Bratunac, although regularly supplied with fuel tree, food and hygienic supplies, are very discontent because nobody is working on the problem of adequate accommodation and already third winter they will stay in the collective accommodation. BELGRADE - The UNHCR spokesman in Belgrade Mons Niberg announced that the municipality Mrkonjic Grad was declared the Open City. "That is very significant event for RS, because that is the first municipality in this entity to which UNHCR gave the status of Open City" - said Nirnberg at the press conference in Belgrade. SARAJEVO - The decision of the High Representative Carlos Westendorp to proclaim the Law on citizenship of B&H is "dangerous , bad and extorted act" for which "exclusive guilt lies on Moslem party" - stated the president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik. Noting that the decision from Mr. Westendorp was provoked by "Moslems delegates and their mentors", Krajisnik stressed that only the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H is authorised to pass the laws, and that foreign diplomats furthermore insist on legal parliamentary procedure. Expressing the understanding, but not also the support for such Westendorp's decision, he reminded that in Bonn was agreed the text of this law and that there is no anything disputable in that , and as the main problem, he noted the behaviour of Moslem delegates who "expressed the pathological, unfounded fear towards the right of Serbs on double citizenship". SARAJEVO - The head of the General Staff of RS Army /VRS/ general Pero Colic thinks that all dangers of renewing conflicts in B&H did not ceased, having in mind that Federation of B&H /FB&H/, contrary to RS, is legally and illegally arming and training itself. "When another party is equipping, arming and training itself that means that they count on using it and applying in some 'appropriate' moment. Contrary to that, why would they spend so much energy, material and money if they do not have intention to start the war", stressed general Colic in an interview for SFOR information service. BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic received in the farewell visit Donato Chiarini, the presiding of EU in B&H, expressing her gratitude for his assistance for RS. Chiarini in Banja Luka attended the finishing of rehabilitation of the Children Home "Rada Vranjesevic and Pediatric institute, headed by, as he said, "people of high professional standards". BIJELJINA - The head of the General Staff of VRS general Pero Colic congratulated to the citizens, state organs and soldiers the Serbian Orthodox Christmas, the Day of RS and Serbian New Year 1998, wishing the best, the unity of all organs of the state authorities. Colic stressed the need "of full harmony in functioning of the institutions of the president of Republics, National Assembly, Government, Supreme Council of Defence and juridical organs of RS." HAGUE - The judges of the International Court of justice in Hague brought the decision in which in accordance with which the countersuit of FR Yugoslavia against B&H for genocide against Serbs is allowed. B&H should answer on this countersuit until January 23 next year, and the deadline for response of FRY is July 23 - convey agencies.
