BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic talked in Banja Luka with the presiding of the European Commission Donato Chierini about preparations for the first visit of EU commissioner for foreign affairs Hans van der Bruck to RS. "It will be the first Van der Brucks visit to RS and Banja Luka and first meeting with president Plavsic" - stated Chierini to reporters saying that the meeting will take place most probably on Monday.

SARAJEVO - The presidents of RS Government Aleksa Buha and Velibor Ostojic talked in Pale with the participants of the International Orthodox Slavic campaign on idea of forming the Slavic Association of Orthodox countries. "With the group of 19 Russian intellectuals we analysed the idea on forming Slavic Association of Orthodox countries, which Mr. Buha and I supported, along with the promise the RS will surely be included in this spiritual association" - stated Ostojic for SRNA.

BRUSSELS - NATO has intention to enforce SFOR troops with 1,00 soldiers and so guarantee "secure surroundings" for holding the parliamentary elections scheduled for November 23 - reports AFP calling upon the statements of diplomats. "The final decision about this will be brought at the end of the week after the consultations with the representatives of the twenty countries who have soldiers in SFOR, but are not members of NATO" - precisely stated one un-named diplomat.

HAMBURG - Overt Western support of president Biljana Plavsic and demonisation of Radovan Karadzic as alleged war criminal, provoked the defiant reaction of Serbs, what they have shown the results of municipal elections - concludes the German daily magazine "Spiegel". "After failed wishes in view of result of elections for local authority organs and winning of national parties, West finally have found itself jammed in Bosnia - concludes "Spiegel" and reminds: "The idea of the West to put the corner-stone to new post war order through elections turned out into the complete opposite to what was intended to be reached by elections".

PARIS - In French press is continued the demonisation of Serbs through reports about the alleged Serbian crimes committed during the war in particular Moslem enclaves along with complete omitting Serbian victims. The reporter of the Parisian weekly "Marian" Elisabeth Levi asserts that in Srebrenica was killed 11,000 of Moslems, but, besides the photographs of veiled women who reportedly were left without their families, nothing is reported as the evidence of alleged crimes.

BRCKO - The chief of the Centre of Public Security Brcko Mico Simkic confirmed that tomorrow will start the reconstruction of Police of RS in this city, so that the expert team of IPTF in the House of Culture at 9,00 o'clock hold the first course for 30 students. Simkic stressed in the statement for SRNA, that in accordance with the agreement of Ministry of Internal affairs /MUP/ of RS and IPTF, the course will pass all the persons with the official identity card of the police.

BRCKO - The identity cards of RS on the improvised point of the Serbian police in the settlement Omerbegovaca in Brko received 32 Moslems - is confirmed for SRNA in the Police Station in Brcko. The Serbian documents until now accepted 419 Moslems out of 1799 families from Federation who has got permission for settling from the Commission for return, which acts under the auspices of Office of supervisor.

BRCKO - In U.S. basis of SFOR "Eagle" in Tuzla is performed the shift of the troops of multi-national division /MND/ North in operation "Joint sentinel". The first infantry division was replaced by the First armoured unit of the U.S.A. army, and command from general David Grange took over general-major Larry Ellis.

BANJA LUKA - The Czech soldiers from the Fourth brigade from rapid reaction forces will be replaced this month by members of the Second mechanised brigade - announced the Command of the Czech contingent. The members of this brigade will have new signs - instead of up to now red, they will have green berets and badges with red and white shield.

LJUBLJANA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic greeted the victory of Milo Djukanovic at the presidential elections in Montenegro as a "good news", assessing that it is the sign of democratisation of Serbian states which cannot be stopped. In an interview for the Ljubljana's "Delo", Plavsic added that "Djukanovic earlier made efforts on democratisation and economic renewal of the society".

BELGRADE - The president of the Democratic Party of Serbia Vojislav Kostunica assessed that the presidential elections in Montenegro will not bring new quality, because, "both factions of the Democratic Party of Socialists are not ready to be reformed". "And with another election results the matters would not be essentially changed. Neither Bulatovic can guarantee the survival of federal state, nor Djukanovic can guarantee the reforms" - stated Kostunica at the press conference in Belgrade.

BELGRADE - The Social-democratic Union /SDU/ announced that "the authorities in Belgrade are organising "the campaign of pressure" on Montengro after victory on elections of Milo Djukanovic". In the announcement of SDU is stressed that "organised campaign of pressures on Montenegro, which is, after winning of Djukanovic is more and more intensive from Belgrade, ominously reminds on the time before starting of the war in the regions of the former Yugoslavia".

SARAJEVO - The minister of the Internal Affairs of F B&H Muhamed Zilic assessed in Sarajevo the security situation in Federation as "very complex and upsetting", especially because of the increase of the great number of murders and terrorism. At the session of the House of peoples of the federal parliament Zilic warned that in first nine months MUP of FB&H recorded even 56 murders, 15 of which were still not clarified and 172 terroristic acts, warning that "the terrorism is more and more present and dangerous".
