BANJALUKA - The President of Republika Srpska (RS) and commander-in-chief of its armed forces, Biljana Plavsic, talked in Banjaluka with the commander of the RS Army (VRS) First Corps, general Momir Talic and his associates on the process of VRS reorganisation. After the talks, held in the First Corps Operative Centre, the RS president stated that the head of the General Staff, general Pero Colic, and she visited the First Corps in the scope of regular visits to all VRS structures.

SARAJEVO - The president in the Dayton B-H Presidency, Mocmilo Krajisnik, expressed his content with the Presidency meeting and selection of co- chairmen of the Council of Ministers, who will in the coming period give their proposals for other Council members. Upon his arrival from Sarajevo, Krajisnik stated that RS considered several proposals for co-chairman, but an optimal solution would be possible to reached in the presence of all candidates. "Aleksa Buha was one of the most serious candidates, but he gave up upon his personal demand, as Draganic did. I thing that Bosnic was a good proposal, and, on the ground of his experience in the Government as a manager of a comprehensive economic system, I hope he would contribute to the Council and adequately represent and protect RS interests", stated Krajisnik.

SARAJEVO - The Presidency of the Dayton B-H named Boro Bosnic and Haris Silajdzic co-chairmen of the Council of Ministers. By December 17, the co- chairmen will name other members, when the House of Representatives of the Dayton B-H will hold a session to verify the appointments of the Council co- chairmen, and other ministers and their deputies.

AMSTERDAM - Dutch Radio correspondent from the Hague Tribunal, Hela Rotemberg, believes grave difficulties for this Tribunal are generated by a lack of clearly defined rules and the fact that his legislative system is not legally conformed into a whole. "The Tribunal rules are in some cases very contradictory, and there are huge gaps between them, which makes lawyer's work very difficult", says Rotemberg.

SARAJEVO - The former first man of the Muslim Army, Sefer Halilovic, assessed that the Muslim part of the Federation of B-H less and less resembles a republic, and all the more reminds of a sultanate of the Izetbegovic's and Cengic's. In his interview for the latest issue of the Sarajevo's weekly "Nedeljna Bosna", he claims that all leading positions in the Muslim military are seized by the so-called "Visoko faction", with the key person being the official logistic officer Halid efendy Cengic, father of the recently replaced Federal defence minister, Hasan Cengic.

KOTOR-VAROS - The Croatian Defence Council (HVO) commander for Vitez, general Drago Dragicevic, stated that "the Hague Tribunal is worthless creation, formed under the US and Islamic countries' dictate, with a transparent aim of 'stanisation' of the people in the former B-H who have fought the revamped Islamic fundamentalism".

STOCKHOLM - A Serb from the former B-H, who was arrested and accused of war crimes, received a kronor 75,000 compensation from Sweden. Namely, according to usual procedure, he was denounced by the Muslim refugees in Sweden, and arrested on the charges of committing war crimes "while being a guard in a prison".

NOVI SAD - The newly-elected City Assmelby of Novi Sad, demands an urgent summoning of the extraordinary session of the Serbian Parliament to discuss reasons and objectives of the mass protests in Serbia, this was announced from the first constituting session of the Novi Sad City Assmelby.

BEOGRAD - The president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj, announced that last session of the Civil Council of the Yugoslav Assembly showed that the ruling parties have no intention to change anything in methods of work of this body.

BEOGRAD - The coalition "Together" announced that an actor, Gojko Baletic - arrested and beaten during yesterday's protests by four policemen - was released from a prison.

BEOGRAD - Serbia's president Slobodan Milosevic, received Italian foreign minister, Lamberto Dini, the first western chief of diplomacy visiting Belgrade since the students' protest begun 24 days ago.

BEOGRAD - The annulment of the local elections is a political problem which is to be solved by political means, stated the president of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica at a press conference in Belgrade.

BEOGRAD - Three weeks of permanent street protests in the Serbia's cities, the ruling parties and opposition got into a tactic struggle in which they stand apart form radical steps, preferring awaiting for errors of the other side, writes SRNA commentary.
