SRNA REVIEW OF DAILY NEWS, March 20, 1996Srpska Republica News Agency (SRNA) DirectoryFrom: Mirjana Petrovic <[email protected]>MOSCOW - The participation of Russia in the restoration of Republika Srpska /RS/ and cooperation between two countries were the basic issues of today's talks of the RS minister of foreign affairs, Aleksa Buha, and the Russian minister of extraordinary situations, Sergey Shoiga, and the minister of health Alexander Sereborovtsev. It is being expected, that an agreement could be signed Saturday which would contain a framework Russian aid programme for the RS in structural materials, mounting buildings and medical equipment. SARAJEVO - The vicepresident of the Executive Board, Rado- van Bajic, and the secretary of the Banjaluka municipality, Branko Cvijic, talked today with a delegation of the European Union about the position and number of the refugees in this part of Srpska as well as about the upcoming elections. The EU repre sentatives, headed by the chief of the monitoring mission, Gioor gio Francetti Pardo, spoke particularly about the need of the equal media participation of all political parties. DOBOJ - The assistant high representative of the interna tional community, Michael Steiner, arrived in Doboj in order to talk with local authorities about the implementation of the Dayton agreement. Steiner will talk with the president of the Doboj municipality, Drago Ljubicec, about war prisoners and the freedom of movement. BELGRADE - An announcement of the American Government that they will finance Croatian and Muslim armies in the B-H Federa tion, retired general and army analyst, Radovan Radinovic, as sessed as "a new possibility of the war in the former Bosnia and Hercegovina". In a statement given SRNA, he stressed that "Americans want to prepare that quasistate for a final battle against the Serbs and to create a unitary Bosnia". BRUSSELS - Political results of the peace agreement for Srpska and B-H federation are unsatisfied and NATO, asked by the high representative, Carl Bild, will aid the economic restoration of the entities. CLEVELAND - The American Defence Secretariat warned that "Dayton Bosnia" will be disintegrated along the ethnic lines and that the civil war might erupt again after the withdrawal of NATO, "if the international community does not provide aid for the recovery of economic and political institutions". The New York Times published an analysis of the Pentagon, which says that the warring sides did not change its strategical aims from the beginning of the war. SARAJEVO - A Holland woman, Jeny Ligtenberg, which works as a pharmacists in the RS, sent an open letter to Richard Gold stone, the main prosecutor of the Hague tribunal, proposing that all culprits of the war in the former B-H be indicted. "I demand you to call Genscher, Tudjman, Izetbegovic, Van Den Bruke and all other politicians to present their explanations before an inde pendent court because of their crimes against the innocent Serbi an people", says the letter.
