Aside of great efforts to complete the evacuation of remaining Serb Sarajevans from Ilijas, Vogosca and Centre as soon as possible the task is yet to be done. SARAJEVO - The international Police Task Forces (IPTS) announced that the Muslims police which yesterday entered the Serb municipality of Hadzici is threatening and mistreating the remaining Serbs, which was confirmed by UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Aleksander Ivanko, who explained that the Muslims are threatening the Serbs in Hadzici, thus forcing them to move out. SREBRENICA - Over 1,200 families from Ilijas and other Serb Sarajevo municipalities are accommodated in Srebrenica. The Staff for Accommodation says that provisional refugee centres are prepared to receive the Serbs who are expected to arrive from Serb Sarajevo municipalities. BEOGRAD - President of the Congregational National Party, Slobodan Rakitic, said that the exodus of the Serbs from Serb Sarajevo shows that "IFOR and EU have decided to explain Serb distrust towards the Federal authorities as a political game of president Karadzic and general Mladic". TUZLA - IFOR commander for Sector NorthEast, U.S. general William Nesh, chaired over a meeting of the Joint Military Com mission for this region. According to AFP, the meeting was held at a check point 50 kms distant from Tuzla, and the VRS was represented by general Momir Talic, Radislav Krstic and Budimir Gavric, but neither the subject, nor were results of the meeting made known. BRCKO - At a meeting held in IFOR camp near Brcko, the Muslim Commission for POW Exchange delivered a list of Serb soldiers presently imprisoned in Tuzla. On the list there are names of 130 Serbs, out of whom Milan Tadic was liberated and is presently in Tuzla, while Dusko Pasalic was transferred to Zeni ca, where a criminal charge was brought against him. The release of the Serb soldiers from the Tuzla prison cannot be expected in the offing, for their release is conditioned upon the resolution of fabricated problem of the Srebrenica Muslims. MOSTAR - The Croatian Defence Council (Bosnian Croats' armed forces, HVO) recently withdrew from B-H territory and are sta tioned N of Dubrovnik, at border between Croatia and RS. The HVO went to Croatia in order to evade the demobilisation which, according to the Daytona agreement should be carried out until April 20. MOSTAR - The chief of police in Kiseljak, Mladen Tolo, warned the high representative of the international community, Carl Bildt that "only the Muslim side, with their internal minis ter Avdo Hebib, on the lead, decides about the functioning of the Federal ministry of internal affairs". Croatian RadioHerzeg- Bosnia reports that in his letter of protest to Carl Bildt, Tolo pointed out that "The Muslim party breaks the Law on internal affairs of the Federation, which predicts an equal number of Muslim and Croat policemen". SARAJEVO - The president of the Sarajevo Board of the Croa tian Democratic union (HDZ), Ivan Vidovic, and the vicepresident of the city assembly, Ante Zelic, informed the president of the federation of B-H, Kresimir Zubak, on difficulties in arrange ment for Sarajevo. Croat representatives consider that the Muslim Party of Democratic Action (SDA) by unconstitutional and illegal arrangement of Sarajevo wants to legalise the existing situation in the city and maintain the Muslim domination. The HDZ city board called upon all Croat state ad political factors to stop the implementation of the Federal constitution on March 3, until the arrangement of Sarajevo is solved in a constitutional and legal way". COPENHAGEN - Osman Tica, whose son was killed as a Muslim soldiers, accused the SDA leader, Alija Izetbegovic, of misusing the Islamic faith for political and military purposes. "Why to connect the name of my son and names other killed soldiers with the religious term 'sehit'" My son is not that, nor I can allow anybody to call him like that", said Tica, whose open letter to Izetbegovic was published in the Muslim weekly "Ljiljan". /end/ |
