PNL deputy Valeriu Ghoerghe said that, along with Mr Catarama, the PNL leadership was invited to participate in a series of open and direct debates concerning the recent conflict between the two sides and the economic reform in the very next future. The leader of the Liberals in Bacau said he was confident that both the PNL leadership (excepting vicepresident Valeriu Stoica who is due in Italy shortly) and Mr Catarama would answer the invitation. He said the Bacau branch of the National Liberal Party (PNL) had the right to launch an initiative of the sort as Mr Catarama represented the Bacau county in the Romanian Senate. He added that, in his opinion, the emerging conflict between the two sides was rather unimportant. RADOR
