Exploring Your Greek Heritage on the Internet

Never before has exploring your Greek heritage been so easy! Fellow Greeks from throughout the world -- particularly here in the United States have been quite enterprising on the net, allowing for an endless collection of information available at the click of a keyboard.

Example: Ever wondered what the steps are to that favorite Greek dance of yours? The answer is on the internet. Are you tired of searching your hometown newspapers for news about Greece, Cyprus and other political developments in the region? Answer: the internet.

Photos of Greece? They are everywhere on the net, along with dozens of sights featuring travel information to help you plan your next journey to the Aegean islands.

Greek history? The Asia Minor Greeks? The Cyprus problem? The Macedonian question? All on the internet. What about Greek cooking and recipes? You know the answer.

Finally, the Greek Orthodox Church is also well-represented with dozens of sites pertaining to the history and structure of the Church, as well as several parishes and monasteries throughout the world.
