FIRST WORLD OLYMPIC CONGRESS OF PHILOSOPHY
on the topic:
PHILOSOPHY, COMPETITION AND GOOD LIFE
(ÁTHENS - SPETSES, JUNE 27th to JULY 4th, 2004)
JULY 2004
TO ALL MEMBERS OFDear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organising Committee and the members of the Secretariat of:
THE FIRST WORLD OLYMPIC CONGRESS OF PHILOSOPHY
We would like to thank you for responding to our invitation and for your participation in the Congress. We believe that it was a good Congress with great potential and perspectives.
Our wish was to do more and better for you but the wider social-political circumstances, together with some unexpected events, did not allow us to please you as we would have wanted, nor could we have the opportunity and time to be with all and each one of you so as to fully realise the atmosphere of familiarity and friendship. We are therefore asking for your understanding and we are determined to honour that commitment in our future communications and meetings.
Once again, we thank you for your participation and wish you a nice and pleasant summer, as well as a good academic year.
Cordially yours,
The President of the Organising Committee
Professor Konstantine Boudouris
