Greece in World War II

May the 9th has long been established and is celebrated by our Allies in WW II, as Victory Day in Europe.

Little Greece has contributed substantially to the Allied Victory in WW II, but her deeds are very little known, even to present day Greeks world wide.

This file in pdf format is a short historical account in Greek, documenting with facts and publications of that period, the Greek preparation and contribution to the above Allied Victory in WW II.

Contributed kindly by Sotirios Georgiadis, Rear Admiral, Hellenic Navy (Ret), Member of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Greek History

A MS PowerPoint presentation includes facts and statements regarding Greek resistance in World War II.

An Anthology of cartoons published in the British press, edited by S.-L. Hourmouzios n 1942, given here as a PDF document.

Contributed both kindly by Stella Jatras.
